SHIPPING INFORMATION                                                                                                          

All orders placed on ModernMarketplace.com will ship directly from the manufacturer to your home via our network of professional furniture transport companies and home delivery teams.  Our delivery team will always be staffed with uniformed delivery professionals trained for in home furniture and bedding delivery.

ModernMarketplace offers two levels of in home white glove delivery: 

Our BRONZE  level of delivery, which is included FREE of charge for all orders exceeding $200, will include home delivery by two trained delivery professionals to the “first dry area” of the home (ie: Garage, Porch, Foyer).  Up to two flights of stairs (prior to the entry) are included at no additional charge.  You will be responsible for unpacking and assembly, if required.  You would also be responsible for disposing of all debris.

Our GOLD level of white glove delivery includes all the services of our free BRONZE level, in addition to the following extra services:
•    Your product will be placed in your room of choice.
•    The product will be unboxed and all debris will be removed
•    Any assembly or installation required (up to 15 minutes) will be included at no additional charge.

   THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN OUR STANDARD WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY AND WILL INCUR EXTRA DELIVERY CHARGES:

  • Missed Deliveries -- If you are not at home when our delivery team attempts your delivery, we will not be able to leave the product.  The delivery company will call to reschedule a new delivery, but you will be responsible for the extra delivery charge.
  • Stair Carries --  Up to two flights of stairs are included in the white glove delivery service.  This typically accommodates all residences on the 1st - 3rd floor.  However, if you live on the 4th floor or higher, and there is not a working elevator that is available for use, there will be an extra charge of $33.00 (per flight/per delivery).                                                                  
  • Specific Delivery Times -- We will attempt to schedule your delivery within a 4 hour time slot of your choosing.  However, if your require a specific time delivery, our delivery teams do charge an extra fee for this service.
  • Temporary Storage --  Our delivery team will attempt to contact you immediately upon receiving your product from the manufacturer.  We are happy to hold the merchandise for up to 10 days; however, if you are not able to receive delivery within the 10 day time frame, you may incur additional storage charges.
  • Complicated Assembly -- Our GOLD level white glove delivery includes installation and assembly, up to 15 minutes.  This is adequate to cover most items we sell on our site.  However, there may be a few items that are more complicated to assemble and will incur additional delivery charges.  Please call our customer service department, (888) 927-8780, if you are concerned that your purchase may require more than the alloted time for delivery.
